Leo Daboub

Leo Daboub brings to APPS over thirty years of experience in finance and entrepreneurship and over twenty years in the merchant processing industry.

Prior to joining Atlantic-Pacific Processing Systems (APPS), Leo began his career in the payment industry at Payment Resources International (PRI) as a sales representative.  He earned the title Salesman of the Year within his first year for his success in signing some of the company’s highest volume and marquee-level accounts. Leo was soon promoted to VP of Business Development at PRI, managing the company’s Major Accounts, VAR’s and Bank relationships.

In 2004 Leo created from the ground up the Government Services Division (GSD) at TransFirst Merchant Services after having signed and managed its first 14 Municipalities, with an additional 90+ under his leadership. in 2005 Leo was promoted to SVP of Business Development at TransFirst, where in addition also managed its internal sales for the company.

In 2012, Leo joined Atlantic-Pacific Processing Systems as VP of Business Development managing its internal sales, VAR’s, Financial Institutions and Government / Municipality relationships. By 2014, Leo had been promoted to SVP of Business Development, managing the companies entire external sales and VAR teams. 2019 brought the growth of the business development division at APPS, with Leo‘s business development knowledge, he successfully cultivated, and now manages, APPS’s Strategic Marquee Partnerships & Accounts, which has generated billions in yearly processing volume.

Leo positively influences both APPS colleagues and direct reports alike. His trusted input imparts positive change to expand the company’s growth and reach. His greatest strength is in developing key partnerships and relationships.

Leo is actively involved in multiple municipal organizations, including the California Municipal Treasurers Association (CMTA), California Society of Municipal Finance Officers (CSMFO) and Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA).
